Café

Overlooking the 16 acres of Gardens and the Victorian conservatory, the café is the perfect place to rest during a a visit to the Horniman. Offering a range of delicious hot and cold snacks and refreshments, it provides an ideal setting to relax before or after exploring the exhibitions.

The café is open from 9.30am - 5.30pm. Last orders for hot food are at 5.00pm.

A picnic area with picnic tables is available in the Gardens near the bandstand.

Shopping

The shop at the Horniman Museum is a treasure trove of gifts for everyone. Inspired by the Museum's richly diverse collections, our children's toys, musical instruments from around the world and British-made mementos are hard to resist. Hand picked books on the local area sit beautifully with fairly traded products and thoughtful craft ranges.

And it doesn't stop there. We are constantly changing our products to ensure that we always have something new - you'll be sure to find that last minute gift idea, or maybe just a treat for yourself!
