Museum Opening Hours
- Daily 10.30am - 5.30pm, except 24 - 26 December, when we are closed.
- Entrance to the Museum and Gardens is free. A charge is made for the Aquarium.
Garden Opening Hours
- Monday - Saturday 7.30am - sunset
- Sunday 8am - sunset except 25 December, when we are closed.

During your visit
Facilities and access
The Museum and Gardens are both wheelchair and pushchair friendly with accessible toilets. A lift gives access to all the exhibition areas. Baby changing facilities are available in Gallery Square.
Filming, photography and sketching
Please take photographs or use a video camera in the galleries, but not with a tripod, monopod or supplementary video lighting. Please don't use flash photography, especially in the Aquarium.
Photographs or videos taken in the Galleries may only be for personal use. You may sketch or draw throughout the museum. You might also like to upload your images to our flickr group.

Cloakrooms
Lockers and cloakroom facilities (including buggies) are located between the Café and Information Desk. Tokens to operate these can be picked up from the Information Desk. Buggies can also be parked in Gallery Square when available.
Toilets
Toilets are located off Gallery Square and between the Café and Information Desk. Baby changing facilities are available in both locations.
